Capital Radio sets out to pay homage to the bands they love (Dag Nasty, Verbal Assault, Bad Religion, Samiam, Seaweed, Sick Of It All, Minor Threat, Reach The Sky) while putting their own stamp on traditional hardcore by blending the finest elements of punk with powerful, melodic vocals and dynamic song structures. In that pursuit, Capital Radio clearly achieves that goal, by honoring the originators of punk without resorting to common formula or popular sentiment.
